Drafting 1 (8600810)
Grades 9-10
This course provides students with an introduction to the knowledge, human relations, and technical skills of drafting technology. Students begin the year with manual drafting, which is followed by ACAD computerized drafting. This course satisfies the practica/performingl arts graduation requirement.

Drafting 2 (8600820)
Grades 10-11; Drafting 1 and Teacher recommendation required.
This course provides students with an intermediate understanding of the knowledge, human relations, and technical skills of drafting and design technology. This course satisfies the practica/performingl arts graduation requirement.

Drafting 3 (8600830)
Grades 11-12; Drafting 2 and Teacher recommendation required.
This course provides students with an advanced understanding of the knowledge, human relations and technical skills of drafting and design technology. The first semester of the course students will focus on Architectural Design followed by ACAD and Inventor in the second semester. This course receives honors weighting for the district GPA calculations. This course satisfies the practica/performingl arts graduation requirement.
- Drafting 4/Advanced Applications in Technology (8601900)
Grades 12; Drafting 3 and Teacher recommendation required.
The purpose of this course is to provide students with the opportunity, to develop a project from "vision" to "reality." Working in teams to design, engineer, manufacture, construct, test, redesign, test again, and then produce a finished "project." This would involve using all of the knowledge previously learned, not only in technology education, but across the curriculum. This course receives honors weighting for the district GPA calculations. Students completing Drafting 1-4 will, at the end of Drafting 4 take the AutoDesk Certified Associate--AutoCAD exam. Upon passing this exam, students will earn this certification. This course satisfies the practica/performingl arts graduation requirement.
